Another image of the bands playing in Yuyintang on Saturday night. Again I’m using flash and dragging the shutter to get this cool effect.
This is a band called Yuguo.

Saturday night out with a band photographer friend and the next few days have some of the images from last night. This is a band called Yuguo.
Mixture of flash and no flash images, all have some basic processing with curves, levels and a high pass, otherwise what you see is what you get!
Enjoy!

Lots of random people passing the black door somewhere in the French Concession of Shanghai. August 2009.
A series of images of random people walking past a black door in the French Concession of Shanghai.
I’m going after interesting signs in and around the Shanghai Metro at the moment. Yesterday was a Zhongshan Park sign and a few days ago I had a cool Line 1 sign. More to come in the future.
Back to the Shanghai Metro for some more underground images: yellow for line 3 and purple for line 4…
My final image from Hong Kong Airport. The original aeroplane with the great lighting and the beautiful sky! Any comments - or do you prefer the landscape version? Check out the first image in this series: Hong Kong Airport I
Second of four images (Okay I know I said 2 images yesterday, but I was looking through my images and found two others I really like), so instead of the vertical image of the yesterday’s plane, I have this image of the walkway within Hong Kong Airport. I’m a big fan of the white spaces [...]
Today and tomorrow I have two images. Each is essentially the same image of a large aeroplane waiting for clearance at Hong Kong Airport. The lighting in the late afternoon was beautiful and tomorrow’s image shows more of the sky. Which do you prefer?
Really there is no need to be walking inside the train… the idea is that the train does the work for you!
These people seem to have worked out how enter and exit the train without bumping into each other… I wish everyone could do that!!
…and finally some people who haven’t moved and blurred my shot!
