About

Martin

Martin is a British photographer and has somehow found his way to be living in Shanghai, China.  In recent years Martin has lived, worked and studied in the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada.

When he’s not taking pictures, Martin is working as a teacher in a Shanghai international school.  He would love to become a full time photographer, however realises that he would miss working in the classroom as well.  For now he balances both lives as best he can, spending as much time as possible keeping his portfolios up to date, learning new skills, travelling, and drinking the odd glass of red wine.

From the UK to North America to Asia, Martin has gained a reputation for exciting and innovative photography. He has a passion for night time photography, architecture, travel and fine art photography, however, given the opportunity Martin also enjoys undertaking portraiture and fashion projects.

Martin can offer variety of photographic services such as: fine art prints from his current portfolio or by commission, suitable for commerical installations or private homes; commerical projects; and editorial work.  Martin is just as happy working on location with available light as well as working in the studio.  If you’re interested in purchasing a print or have any other inquiries including licensing photos or hiring Martin for a photo shoot then please email  martin@martinbrownphotography.com
