Yuyintang - Another Night of Music I :: Shanghai 5th September
Two bands played on 5th September. Again I went along with a photographer friend of mine. His blog is http://blog.sina.com.cn/fjqblink.
The main attraction tonight is a Canadian dual called Handsome Furs and this image was the warm up band called Boys Climbing Ropes.

Yinyantang Band Night V :: Shanghai 29th August 2009
The next few image of are the second band which I shot during the evening. Different place to shoot and hopefully some pretty moody black and whites!

Yuyintang Bands IV :: Shanghai 29th August 2009
My last image of a band called Yuguo. This is a band from Jiangxi. So I’m told, they entered a band competition in China and won the first place in Shanghai, after that they started making music on a more serious basis. They play mostly Brit Pop style.

Yuyintang Bands I :: Shanghai 29 August 2009
Saturday night out with a band photographer friend and the next few days have some of the images from last night. This is a band called Yuguo.
Mixture of flash and no flash images, all have some basic processing with curves, levels and a high pass, otherwise what you see is what you get!
