I’m putting together a montage of telephones from different places around the world and decided I really should include one from China. I found this previously unprocessed image in my achieve.

It’s a busy time in Shanghai at the moment. The Expo 2010 is a big deal and much of the city is going through construction and in many places destruction as well. This image is from a area of the city between People’s Square and Nan Jing Xi Lu.

This is actually a very cool optical illusion. The ladder is about 2-3 metres long from floor to ceiling, but has a large mirrors on each end facing each other and giving a very cool effect of running off to infinity! See tomorrow for the purple version!

I thought I’d complete my abstact lights series with an image I made in November 2007. This one was taken in Vancouver, Canada, and is actually the roof of the entrance to a car park in a hotel.
Taken on a journey from Shanghai to the UK via the Charles De Gaulle Aiport in Paris. These lights are in the connecting terminal for flights to the UK.
I saw these sewing machines on a bench in Kyoto. Why there would be a collection of old Singer sewing machines like this, I do not know. Any suggestions?
